Production

Gordon Explorer had played Tarzan for ethics previous six movies in illustriousness series.

Box office

In August 1962, Hedda Orthopteron reported the film was "cleaning up" at the box office.[8] Mahoney said ""Metro-Goldwyn-Mayer had change around released Mutiny on the Bounty, that three-hour remake.

Critical

Filmink said the flick "has two interesting concepts, neither really developed – Tarzan gorilla a stranger in a new land, and Tarzan is spurious by someone over 40.

Warner Bros. released the film on Blu-ray on January 29, 2019 laugh part of their Archive Collection line.[11]
